Senior Spotlight – Lakyn Morrow

1) What takes up too much of your time?

Dual Credit class work

2) What advice would you give future seniors?

As soon as the school year starts, start thinking about your future, filling out scholarships, and touring the schools that you think you might attend.

3) What are your plans after graduation?

My plans after graduation are to take some Paris Junior College classes and then in the fall I’m going to attend Stephen F. Austin to major in accounting.






Staff Reporter – Alexis Kincaid

What job would you be terrible at?

Accounting because I don’t enjoy any type of math.

What was your favorite class this year?

Human Services. The class is very calm and fun. The teacher is very nice.

What game or movie universe would you like to live in the most?

I would enjoy living in the movie Ponyo because of the beautiful scenery and the soothing feeling of being surrounded by the amazing sea life.

What are some small things that make your day better? Knowing that I’ve made someone else’s day just by being nice to them

What was your favorite class this year?

Library aid because l love books and Mrs. Butler!!!!

What skill would you like to master? Speak fluent Spanish

What takes too much up of your time?

School. I have a very bad case of senioritis and I’m just ready for it to be over.  

What are things you look forward to in the next 10 years?

Having a family, being successful, and having a great, fun life, you know.

Favorite high school memory?

When Mrs.Caldwell always made me come to meetings because I was “bad” but, now she loves me. But Mrs. Caldwell says she did that because she loved Bailey.

What advice would you give future Seniors?

It’s really important to stay organized and be on top of all your important due dates. Senior year can be really chill and laid back, but if you don’t keep track of all your work, it’ll get super stressful.

If all jobs had the same pay and hours, what job would you like to have?

Wouldn’t it be super cool to move to New York City and become a totally independent waitress in a coffee shop called Central Perk? Oh wait… is that Rachel Green’s storyline?

What are some small things that make your day better?

Starbucks, sugar, and carbs.

What are you looking forward to in the coming months?

I am looking forward to graduating and starting my career in Air Force.

What was your favorite class this year?

Yearbook because Mrs. Weir made it to where I understood how to design the pages, and I get to take pictures which I love doing.

If all jobs had the same pay and hours, what job would you like to have?

I would like to become a photographer, since it is something I like to do with my spare time.
