Do you like to dance? Well, drill team tryouts are just around the corner. It will be happening February 25!
The requirement to be on drill team is to learn a tryout dance, perform in front of the judges, and get a perfect score. Trying out for drill team officer is a different story. For this, you have to perform a solo and teach a hip hop, kick, or pom routine. You also have to set up a notebook with responsibilities and questions about drill team as well as be on the drill team for one year. Here’s a little tip for you girls trying out: smiling big helps with your score!
Mrs. Gina has been the drill team sponsor for almost 11 years now. She’s expecting to transform girls into dancers, help them learn to be part of a team, and keep up their grades. Her goals for the next year are to rid of any drama and have everyone get the jump splits and double pirouette down.
